I stayed here for two nights during my trip through Brazil and I must say, it was worth every penny!

Likes

- The room was clean, comfortable, and reasonably spacious. I couldn't find the *usual* amenities in the bathroom so went out to the nearby grocery store to buy some, but turns out the hotel provides if you request!
- Great location! It's a one minute walk to the local bus terminal, which is convenient not only because it's the last stop of the bus from the airport (no need to check at every stop and ask around where to get off) but also the starting point of that same bus that takes you all the way to the Iguacu Falls. (The fare was 2.40 reais.) There is also a tourist information booth within the bus terminal, which I found extremely helpful.
- The breakfast was nice, with a good selection of hot dishes, fresh fruits, pastries/desserts, bread, and fresh squeezed juices. I also like the semi-open restaurant that looks into the courtyard/pool.
- Very friendly staff, too. One lady who spoke GREAT English was attentive, caring, and kind enough to suggest dining and tour options, which turned out to be great!

Dislikes

- The shower: the shower head is attached to some sort of filterish looking thing, and the water pressure is somewhat low, although there's a good flow of hot water any time of the day.
- Air conditioning: it was EXTREMELY hot and humid the day I checked in (30 degrees C?) but the air conditioner was a bit weak, so I had to leave it on throughout the night.

This place is pretty well renovated and with a lot of charm. Was a little bit afraid when I arrived there but as soon as you enter the place it's pretty nice. Only problem is that there is no heat in the rooms, may be like all the hotels in Brazil (...) and the first night we arrived, was 6°C in Iguaçu at 2 AM in the morning and so ... pretty cold in the rooms even if far from a nightmare. Btw let's say abnormal conditions for Iguaçu even if in August

People are very helpful, and what is mostly great is that it is perfectlyt located for those who want to visit Iguaçu falls by their own. Bus terminal is less than 3 minutes from the Pousada and you can easilly take the bus to go to the bresilian side or to the Argentina side of the falls

Nice place around the swimming pool

I chose this hotel based on recommendations and it was a good choice.

Clean and good value, Slightly dated decor, we booked through whl.travel who were really helpful, doing a good deal including transfers and trips to the falls.

There is a small (and rather old) zoo opposite and a supermarket within 5 minutes walk, but other than that not much in the area. We ended up eating at the kilo restaurant in the supermarket.

There is a small pool and a good area for relaxing.

Breakfast is an excellent buffet with plenty to eat and great fresh fruit juices.

Tours around the falls were really good and the bid park is also well worth a visit. We did both the Argentinian and Brazilian falls and the Grand Aventura boat trip.

I had not idea where to stay in Foz, then I found out this place online. Places are usually better when u see them online but this one was different. Great breakfast, friendly staff
( they made us feel like home!), the apartments are bright and clear, etc etc. A lot of nature around too.
The front desk staff is always willing to help - special compliments to this lady named Junia - she was very helpful telling us nice places to visit - fantastic!
There is a nice kitchen for guest to cook if they want too. Such a cozy place!

I'm definetelly coming back!
