Description: Opened in February 2010 in Vitoria, Soeta is led by the partners Bárbara Verzola, Pablo Pavón and Marly Farah. Barbara and Pablo lead the kitchen, which delivers experiences à la carte and proposes 2 tasting menus, "Tradição", more classic, and "Criativo", more daring. The menu, authorial, is based on clear techniques applied to local ingredients, respecting the seasonality of the products. In its mezzanine, Soeta promotes culinary courses with chefs Bárbara and Pablo and hosts intimate events, with menus tailored for celebrations such as weddings, anniversaries and corporate meetings.

Impeccable tasting menu!
The Soeta is a wonderful restaurant. In addition to the a la carte options, there are two different tasting menu options (one of them, bigger, to be ordered in advance). The "normal" tasting has several (and excellent) amuse bouches, starter, a fish or seafood dish, a meat dish and one dessert. The portions are small but sufficient. There is a good wine list. The service is attentive and friendly. All the dishes of the tasting menu were excellent, something that is not easy to happen. The ratio cost-benefit is excelent (the regular tasting menu costs US$50.00), especially considering the quality of the meal. I strongly recommend the restaurant, led by the Ecuadorian chef Pablo Pavón and the Capixaba chef Barbara Verzola.

Birthday dinner with family. An excellent experience! Five Course meal that was as visually appealing as it was superbly delicious! The "Lasanha de cordeiro com molho amatriciana" was simply to-die-for. But save room for the desert! The "Horta de Chocolate" puts any "death-by-chocolat" to shame! This restaurant merits a Michelin * service impeccable. Beautiful décor. I especially like the use of Capixaba Panelas do Barro dishes. Muito obrigado os chefs Pablo Pavon e Bárbara Verzola !

We had the anniversary menu, which was 7 or 8 courses and everything was excellent, service was good and fast, they have a good wine list but if you trust me and want to try only 1 plate go for the lamb lasagna, it is to die for!

Over the course of the evening, 25 taster dishes passed our table, following each other in a swift tempo. With each dish we were surprised by the flavors, the presentation, the combinations or all of that together. There were definite Italian influences, there was Amazonian cuisine, lot's of local fish but also a vegetarian taster menu (yeah!)
The staff explained at each time what was presented and was well trained at answering specific questions. The location is nice with a more formal dining room and a less formal hall. Drinks can be had on the terrace for that extra tropic vibe. Just bring a scarf or jacket, the aircon inside is a little chilly. But I've rarely had a meal with so much 'waw'!

One of the best restaurants in Espírito Santo and possible even in the south of Brazil. The plates are original and surprisingly well done. If you really want to try something different go for one of the "degustation" menus. These take around two to three hours during which you will get around 25 (proportionate) plates.New combinations of flavors are mixed with traditional Brazilian food and some other South-American ingredients. The presentation of the dishes is very good and uses different types of plates and other items to support the food such as stones, wood, etc. Both the menu as well as the wine card have a lot of high quality choices at reasonable prices. You don't want to miss this opportunity when you are in Vitoria!
