I was staying for a few weeks at the Colloseo. Located directly at the entrance of the pedestrians zone of Shkoder, is it the perfect place to be there.
The staff is very friendly and alway`s willing to help you, even with very special issues.
All of the employees, starting from the parking guy`s, the concierges, the waiters in the restaurant to the house keeping ladys and the guys in the gym/pool area... everithing was great.
But the best was the very warm welcome and the ongoing support and hospitality of the reception staff.
Whatever was needed, whenever support was expected..... they where pleased to help me.
I felt almost like home.

So, if anyone want to have a great time in Shkoder, check in to colosseo, and trust Krystina, Stella, Ambra and Andri.
And don't forget to visit the fifth floor baar withe the friendly staff......

Albania is on it's way to modernization. Still far but this hotel is a good example that they are in the right direction. A decent hotel, nice breakfast, great location. Nice atmosphere in the area, bazaar on Sundays in front of the hotel.

The prices are too high for that quality, you can find a better place and pay less. The internet connection is terrible, One should stay in the loby to have connection. The only good thing is the staff.

The hotel is located at the pedestrian street, hence it's just perfect if you want to just have a stroll around the area. I stayed in a room with a great view facing the mosque opposite the street. The morning azan (call for prayer) will be a good wake up call for you to start your day early. The staff is very friendly and helpful, one of them from the front desk even let me use her personal umbrella.

We were SO impressed with the service by this staff! They did more than was ever expected and helped us immensely. Be sure to seek out Stella and Ambra at the front desk and Igli in the restaurant. We are forever grateful!

Room Tip: The mosque and church are both loud, but the calls to prayer and the bells are absolutely beautiful sounds!
