To visit the largest lake in southern Europe it's always wonderful, To relax in beautiful nature, to see lake and the mountains on each side. It's very nice to take a boat trip around the lake. The food in Shiroka village is delicous , do not miss to order a Krabe ne tjegull its a special dish from the area.

Went for a swim with the family. Nice temperature but not the best beach. Rocky bottom, were warned about the water snakes but apparently harmless

Good to cool off though followed by a trip to one of the taverns on the lakeside

Enormous lake. Breathtaking view from many angles. Try to drive to Zogaj. Even the road is stunning!

If you are trying to visit Shkodra dont forget Shkodra lake. SHKODRA LAKE ITS LOCATED NEAR THE CITY AND ITS POSIBLE TO RUN ON A PEDESTRIAN ROUTE near the lake. They are a lot of bars and restaurant that can offer special regional dishes. You can also swim or fish.

It’s a Lake. Beautiful. With mountains on each side. But on the Albanien side it is not very open to Tourists. However you Will find some Nice restaurants on the shore if you go towards Zogaj.

I have read about trash in other trip afviser reviews. I didn’t see much trash.
