This family-run restaurant is specialized in deep-fried pork chop, and arriving late in lunch we were still very warmly welcomed by the staff, making us already feeling good. I ordered the signature deep-fried pork chop with rice and the crust is crispy, thinly coating a thick pork chop which was juicy. I had a layer of fat which brought a good taste but maybe for the ladies they would think it is a bit too much.
There was plenty of cabbage on the side, and in addition there was some side dishes provided along with a miso soup. Overall a good restaurant for those who liked deep-fried pork chop in Kusatsu, with a good price/value ratio.
