It was such a shame that we only got to stay one night. The ryokan's guest were all japanese but they made our stay just as accommodating.
When we arrived at the bus terminal, the email told us to call them to pick us up and they came in 5 minutes (tip: we asked the staff at the hostel before to write down how to say come pick us up from bus stop).
The staff showed us all we needed to know and also gave us very clear directions to visit the tourist attractions.
The rooms were traditional Japanese tatami rooms with private toilet. And they provided the correct size of yukatas for us to roam around in around the Ryokan and also on the streets. Especially important when going to the onsen (which was amazing) and meals (very extravagant dinner and breakfast which made us very full - as expected from the rave reviews by the locals) which were included in the whole Ryokan experience.
