Make sure to get a room on the back side of the hotel so you can see all the ships going past the hotel, it is very peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable. This is a great location for business or pleasure.

Room Tip: Get a room to see the channel so you can see all the ships passing by

Hotel very clean and conveniently located for business trip to Shimonoseki. However amenities dating a bit and truly feels like one has been trapped in time capsule from the 1970s; The bathroom molded in one piece of plastic, the door keys, the lack of wi-fi, and the control room dashboard for buzzer and lights in the room.
That being said, hotel is clean and good location and staff helpful. And price is good too.

The hotel is well located next to the harbour boardwalk, fish market and aquarium and only a short drive from the train station.

The room decor is dated but the benefit of a large balcony make any deficiency in the room seem minor. We enjoyed sitting out with a glass of wine.

There is LAN but no wifi in the rooms so you will need to either bring a ethernet cable or get one from the front desk.

We could not locate an ice machine but there is a Family Mart next door that sells bags of ice cubes.

Curiously there is no hot pot to boil water but there is a small hot induction plate with a small metal mug which holds a cup or so of water and can boil, with patience.

Friendly staff and our preferred location to stay while in Shimonoseki.

Room Tip: there is a beer garden on the 10th floor. staying on the 9th floor may be noisy when the beer garden is open in the summer.

Stayed 1 night at this hotel. The staffs are friendly and the check-in was fast. The room is fairly small, a bit dated standard room but it was nice, clean and quiet. What I like about this hotel is the location and the price is reasonable. It`s about 10 minutes drive from the Shin-Shimonoseki train station. It`s really convenient because it`s close to the fish market, aquarium, and shrine. Lots of restaurant and souvenir shops nearby. There`s also a deck board where you can have a nice evening walk along the sea and feel the sea breeze. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Stayed one night. Room is typical japanese but good. I didnt try breakfast because I had to depart early to take a train. The hotel is facing the sea, I guess you can have very good walk along the sea. Seems that they had an aquarium/delphinarium very close to the hotel. 20 min to high speed train station. You can go to Osaka/Tokyo from this train station.
