We found this restaurant on Yelp as an alternative to the single on-site restaurant at the Lake Quinault Lodge. There aren't a lot of choices in this area (I think only 5, and the Mercantile was closed until April) and visiting guests are basically captive audiences. We ordered pizza to go to eat back in our room and it was a quick 5 minute drive each way. The woman who answered the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered four of the "pizza specials" which was a 12" 1 topping pizza, one chef salad and one dinner salad. Total with tip was about $70. I didn't see an itemized receipt but I think the pizzas were about $12-13 each and the salads were $7-8.

The salads were basic salads of iceberg lettuce. The chef salad had big messy piles of shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced olives and chopped sandwich ham and turkey. It could have used much more lettuce as the toppings were overwhelming, especially the cheese. The dinner salad was iceberg lettuce with a large spoonful of sliced olives and a heaping of shredded mozzarella cheese. We pushed most of the cheese to the side and didn't eat it.

The pizzas tasted like frozen Kraft Jack's brand pizza from the grocery store. We weren't sure how big the pizzas would be and ordered four total We did not really eat much of this blah underwhelming pizza - not worth the calories - and ended up tossing more than 1 and a half pizzas in the trash.

We did stop into the little liquor store next door and picked up a small 375mL bottle of Glen Livet whiskey which was a nice find. It was a little overpriced at $30 but considering our circumstances was worth the extra cost.

Overall the food was underwhelming and overpriced BUT costs less than the on-site restaurant at the Lake Quinault Lodge and has quick and friendly service. Knowing what we know now, we would have brought more food from home for quick fixing in the hotel room.

There are very few restaurants in this area. This was the only local place we had not visited. At first thrown off by the large Pizza sign we were so happy to see the large variety of items on the menu. The service was fast. The food was excellent and generous! We will definitely be back.

No one in our family enjoyed the food. Food was overpriced for the quality of food that they serve. Not many choices in the area but I would suggest paying a little more for a better place.

Seemed like a local hang out in here. The food was very old school....tater tots, anyone?

Everything was tasty and the service was good. This was not a gourmet experience-but it was enjoyable. We didn't have many choices in the rather remote area but we were pleased with the special and a grilled sandwich. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly.

Wish I had tried the soup I think it is homemade. Next time.
