Basil Leaf has opened its door in spanking new Loudoun station, selling kabob, meat balls, gyros and varieties of rice, salad and veggies. The chef is a veteran with ling list of successful establishments in Europe and DC. Took my family on the first day of the new year to celebrate. The place seems popular, quite a few families braved subzero cold to come and eat. The kabobs are not spicy, and service is not very fast. All in all, it deserves five star to serve unique items and offer choices not found in typical mediterrenian, Persian or Afghan restaurants. It will be highly popular with young generation living in condos near metro and having busy life commuting to DC for work.
