We stopped here for dinner before attending a play at the Barter Theater. The place was busy and we had a 20 minute wait to be seated. We were well pleased with the food and service. The cost was reasonable for the good quality of the food.

128 Pecan is a place you can go for lunch and walk away feeling great about the value for your money, knowing you had a delicious and carefully prepared meal, and that you had a peaceful break in your day. The signature potato onion soup is smooth and delicious, and their real beef burgers are perfect. I️ should’ve ordered a glass of wine too :) they had a good wine list. Try 128 Pecan - very busy dday they get you seated quickly but you never feel rushed.

This is one good restaurant, good service and a decent price. The atmosphere was very good and the soft music at just the correct loudness. We will return to this restaurant and our kids are probably there this weekend.

It is a very small restaurant. The chef and owner and wait staff all care about your dining experience. Make sure you arrive early if you want to finish in time to get to the Barter Theater. The trout with side of vegetable medley was unique and very fresh. Low Country Pasta was creamy with just enough spice to give it a zip. The chocolate bread pudding, however, was the ULTIMATE treat! AND if you have tickets to the Barter Theater is gratis. FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to 128 Pecan for the third time, never disappointed. Wonderful food and service. Ate outside on a warm November evening. Our wait would have been 30 minutes if we hadn't chosen to eat outside, which is our only criticism-why don't they take reservations?
