We went here to grab a quick bite to eat. We walked into a great smelling place. They were serving crawfish by the buckets and they smelt good. I wanted some but did not have the time to eat a few pounds. I started out with some gumbo that was pretty good for Texas restaurant. I had the blackened catfish and grilled shrimp. It too was good. The portion amount was enough to fill me up. Service was great but not over bearing. The cups never went dry. I would visit again if in the area.

This place is a diamond in the rough, It is located across the street from TCC SE Campus and it is worth the drive form where ever you are coming form.
I have had a variety of thier dishes but my favorite is the blackened talapia with grilled shrimp and cajun rice. I have gotten this dishes probably 100 times over and It has never once dissapointed. My boys love thier burgers and crawfish which I will say are good as well. They do seem to get a little overwhelmed sometimes but it is worth the wait, and they are always very attentive.

This place has been on my list to try so tonight was the night. We ordered it to go and I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the blackened shrimp poboy and sweet potato fries. The hit was the sweet potato fries, at $1 extra for my side choice it was well worth it considering my main-The Miss. My blackened shrimp had NO flavor at all, I had to take the tails off my shrimp before I could eat the sandwich. The sandwich was dry, no special sauce or condiment a big whomp, whomp, whomp..
My husband on the other hand ordered the grilled chicken and basil rice and his was full of flavor.
I'll give them another shot and hope it works out better next time.

My family and I love this place. It's a smaller coffee shop sort of feel place across from one of the local community colleges in the area. Everything we've gotten here, from their Asian food and coffees/smoothies to their more American food has always tastes great and been really fresh. We typically order takeout here but I see several people in here a lot. I think this place is really known for their crawfish because I see people eating them there all the time although I don't eat crawfish. I would definitely check this place out if you're the area.

It's about as far Southeast Arlington as you can go, but after seeing the pictures online we decided to make the trip - so worth it. It's right across from TCC-SE, next to a textbook store.

The prices are very reasonable, I hope they are charging enough to stay in business. Most everyone was ordering crawfish by the pound. Served in plastic bags and smelled quite spicy; just didn't want to get that messy. Went with a platter (choose your own 2 or 3 entres with a side). I went with blackened catfish, blackened chicken and fried shrimp with onion rings - all for about $10.50. The fish and chicken were lightly blackened but covered with a bunch of dry spice leaves - all great. Burgers were served massive tall and fancy - all for about $10.

They also have a huge selection of smoothie type drinks that were quite popular - just not on my low carb menu.

We will definitely return.
