Visiting midweek/midafternoon is a perfect time to hit this restaurant. Although it is tucked in a back corner of the Highlands Mall, it is well worth finding! The wait staff are pleasant and efficient, and well informed. They can answer questions about the menu and are both patient and cheerful when doing so
I had the sashimi bento box, and my friend ordered a la cart sushi and rolls. We were both very pleased by the portion sizes and the high quality of the sushi presented. The miso soup was delicious! The bento box contains a couple of traditional Japanese salads, which were very good. They are quite different from what my American palate is accustomed to, but no complaints! Their mango iced tea is really good, and the bar drinks were well made and a generous size. Followed up by sinful desserts! Really a complete experience!
The restauant is well designed and is wheelchair accessible. The restroom is accessible, but is located down a narrow hall, and the heavy door is difficult to manage from a wheelchair.
All together, it was a good place to meet with friends.
