Stopped here based on the reviews and were not disappointed. Place seats about 40-50 and packed out 10 minutes after the doors were opened. Food was excellent and service was very good. When we drove up, we were not sure we made a good choice. Turned out to be an awesome choice.

Be prepared: cash or check only, no cards.

Don't let the curb appeal influence your decision. Neat atmosphere inside and incredible hamburgers. 1/2 pound and seasoned magnificently. Loved the french fries too. Small place, but worth the wait, if there even is a wait. Food comes out fast and they move customers in and out quickly.

This is a definite dive (try not to think health code violations) but the food was awesome. We ordered 1/2 fries and 1/2 onion rings which was more than enough for 3 people who like to eat. Delicious greasy burgers topped with a mound of melted cheese. I tried to order well-done but waitress insisted it would be too dry and said med well would not be pink. It came out very pink so they cooked a little longer. If you can’t stand pink burgers insist on well-done. Chili dog was good. Onion rings were crispy and amazing. It’s very close to I-40. We were impressed at how quickly our food arrived. We were back on the road in less than 40 mins.

This place is very cute and family friendly, it’s also local! Local places are the best, and they have great hamburgers here, both quality and quantity!

As others have said: don't let the exterior (even the lines out the door) turn you away. Food is great (portions are HUGE) and the service wonderful. We had a wonderful time, shared a table with another couple, and will go again tomorrow.
