Have not been for many years and while in some ways it felt like coming home, there was some service lapses. Such as reaching across guests to serve drinks and food which was not necessary and without an apology. In addition, removing plates before everyone at the table was finished eating. Asked for olive oil and got balsamic vinegar and olive oil. On the other hand, food was delicious, portions were ample and drinks were flavorful. Will go back sooner than later.

From the greeting at the door to the excellent service from our server and the bar staff, this beautiful well-managed restaurant deserves the best rating possible. My visit was all business my 11 colleagues and we were all very impressed with the food and that impeccable wine list. I’ll definitely be coming back with my husband and family. Perfect spot for special occasions!

Another update since my 2015 review. Aurthur's continues to impress. We like the fact that many of their diners are North of 40. The service is nearly flawless., service team attentive and pleasant. Love the stately elegant decor. Impressive wine list and artfully prepared food. Add to your bucket list.

We ate here for the first time while babysitting our grandchildren while their parents were traveling. Our first time in Dallas my son-in-law took me to Pappas Brothers for steak and it was truly excellent. A place to go and be seen but out standing food as well. However, for two people with a medium priced Cab we were at $400.00. Arthur's has great atmosphere and exceptional service. Our waiter Allen knows the menu backwards and forwards. He knows how to time service without being cloying. Their steaks are value priced. A prime ribeye was excellent. Enough marbling to make juicy and tender. My wife loved her 8oz filet. A nice rich serving cooked perfectly. Salads are excellent. Mine was a wilted spinach with just enough dressing to keep it from getting too soaked and too "vinegar" tasting. The sides are good especially creamed spinach. Sautéed mushrooms equally good. Sensible wine list with great choices and prices. You can get a very fine Cab for well under $100 or an excellent Pinot Noir for under $60.00. So If you want a great dinner with cocktails, wine and steak for $200.00 not including gratuity go to Arthur's . You will get as good if not better than the overpriced steak houses in Dallas.

Came for Restaurant Week, which to be fair, is when the masses descend on dining establishments in greater quantity than many restaurants are used to seeing. However, upon being seated, it took almost ten minutes before we were greeted by our server and offered a wine menu. At that point, he realized we had not even been presented food menus. By the glass options were supermarket quality, which seemed off for a high-end steakhouse. Bottle selection was better, but you have to wonder when your Burgundy Chardonnays are listed as "interesting whites" rather than with the rest of the Chardonnay selection.

Wife had a nice Salmon, with a salad to start and I had a nice Snapper with the Champagne Brie soup. Meal was excellent, although twice, the server tried to give us dishes meant for another table, and when our meal did arrive, kept confusing which entrée or appetizer went where. Lastly, our wine was kept in an ice bucket out of sight of the table. Didn't get prompt refills, leaving us with a third of a bottle left by dessert time, nixing the desire for any dessert wines or cocktails. Maybe a one-off bad night but at these prices, use caution.

Also, we got there around 5:30 and the parking area was not crowded and no valet was available. By the time we left around 7:00, the parking lot was full, and our car had been coned off into a valet only area, creating some hassle in getting out.
