The hotel GM staff is GARBAGE. I actually had a decent stay, with the other manager who actually cares about there guest. Trish was the best. But GM Tony Reyes is the reason I will never book a ihg in my life. Gah, it’s repulsive that this man made me leave the hotel and stand in the rain and I couldnt rebook the hotel bc I had a a few dirty towels and left a speck of washable paint on the counter and a couple drops on the sheet. Like, it would take 2 seconds to do manual labor and wipe it off. When at the end of the day he could have been way more professional, and just told me face to face since he lives on the property. But he didn’t. And it was super upsetting to see that a grown man who throw such a fit over washable paint. Like I’m dumbfounded after I checked out and was waiting to check in to the new room, that I was forced to leave because one towel and one sheet had a drop of black washable paint on it.. pls if someone can make any sense of this to me. I would actually have a little more respect for that man, and it’s not like it’s my job to make sure he could handle a situation like a professional or a even just a man in general who approached me in sweatpants, who says he doing his job. Especially when he stayed up all night flirting with the overnight girl working the front desk. I thought that was the overnights girls boyfriend last night just hanging out. Till today when the same dude in the same sweat pants has the audacity to tell me he’s the GM, and was telling me he was going to call the police if I didn’t leave. lol bro. You just lost a valued customer, and not me or you can’t blame anybody else but yourself. Thanks for that unpleasant experience.
