This is the kind of motor court that America had 50 or more years ago. So it is a treat for those seeking the now-rare experience, but probably less desirable for younger people not used to this kind of property.
The high-season prices are a great value.
The managers were wonderfully friendly and helpful.
Our unit, in the middle of the north row, was fully furnished, with a tiny second bedroom and a complete but crammed kitchen, so one could stay for a week or more.
The place was clean and everything seemed to work.
One warning: the bathroom fixtures would be a tight fit for plus-sized folks.
The back yard has a garden swing and picnic table, and it seems that some units have their own outdoor areas.
One can leave the car and walk downtown, even at night, since the main street is well lit and feels very safe.
Go now before it's renovated, as the new owners are apparently planning! (Even if they do it in a historically respectful way, it won't be the same, and prices are bound to go up.)More
