Came here on Tuesday, April 18th, for Dinner with Family. Smaller establishment but was nicely decorated. Felt like a high end bar.
Had the Crab Dip appetizer, Onion Ring app, and fried pickles. Onion rings were average, but the beer batter was tasty. Fried pickles were good. The crab dip stole the show. Grilled Naan bread served with chunks of crab, cheese, and dill served crisped on top and bubbly. Fantastic, don't miss it.
Close friend had the shrimp and grits, said it was tasty but heavy as shrimp and grits often are so that's hardly a criticism point. The real stunner was the tuna steak. Friend of mine had the Sesame Tuna which came with a sesame crust, rice, and Asian slaw mix. I had the real winner which was the blackened tuna special that evening. Blackened tuna steak served medium rare, over garlic mash and grilled asparagus spears drizzled with a red pepper coolee. It was to die for. Ate every bite, and the portion sizes are fairly liberal. It was a gigantic tuna steak.
All in all, it was a dang good meal. I had no complaints. If you're in the area looking for a slightly more refined fare, give Pangea a try.
