Summit Hotel at Robinson's Magnolia had always been top in our list whenever we would visit Quezon City. Although we had several unpleasant experiences with the services, its covenient location, clean and cozy accommodation and friendly staff, outshadow the negative side of it. During our first 3 stays in this hotel, everything was at its best; but, sad to say, the rest of these were disappointing. I would have categorized Summit Hotel the best of its kind if it gave us nothing but pleasant experiences. I cannot deny the fact that the place is really very tidy from the lobby to the rooms. Its simple interior design appeals to me. It's like home to me and Then came a twist in my 3 latest Summit experiences: 1. mediocre housekeeping service- our room remained unkempt despite our requests, toiletries were not replaced in some instances, towel and handtowel replacements were incomplete one time (only 2 towels instead of 3) and upon check out, the supposed third towel was charged to us. Since the grab car had been waiting for us, we could not argue any further nor wait any longer for the housekeeping personnel responsible for that mess. 2) Nauseous odor saturating the room- one of the rooms we happened to occupy was filled with a foul odor emitting from the floor drain of the toilet and; 3) Poor internet connection.
