Nice try but it's all about the sunset and it's bad at something else. The water is dirty and the bay itself smells so bad. This is a known issue and this is just terrible and sad that we did not take care of this place and no efforts or whatsoever is taken to clean it up.
There were water lilies which is fine...atleast it covered some minor oil spillages and garbages. But in general, Manila Bay along Roxas Blvd. and behind Mall of Asia is very nice around sunrise and sunset. Very romantic, nostalgic, peaceful.
Still one of the best Sunset and surprisingly now very safe for tourists. Stay away during rainy stormy weather and the street urchins swimming in garbage washed ashore is still an eye sore. Snapshot the sunset or sunrise. But don't look down.
It is nice during sunrise and sunset if you try and not think too much about the poverty around you and the pollution that is in the bay.
Lots to do around the area, bars, restaurants, malling, etc...
If you want to have a better view of Sunset with your friends, family, and love one, this is the perfect place. This is good place to rest after cycling in the city. It is continously improving each year.
