delicious free Filipino breakast buffet. Kudos to the Chef! Hospitable staff... You could not feel any safer as the hotel is right across from the American Embassy! A great place to stay if you are tight on schedule as it is a short cab ride to Old Manila, Chinatown, Malate Church and the original Aristocrat. And the Aquarium... not to mention great eats adjacent to the hotel. Reasonably priced for a first-class boutique hotel. It's a home away from home.

It was my first time to actually stay in Manila-you do need a Fillipino friend as a guide to get the best of Manila. I could not have chosen a better Hotel or location. The Bayview Park deserves another Star.Excellent staff throughout especially in the resturaunt. Food was beautifully prepaired, plentiful, and delicious. Again the location so close to Rizal Park for the New year Celebrations and for my purpose as a visitor was in close reach of tourist events. The Hotel location saved me many thousand peso in Taxi fares. When you stay at the Bayview Park do not use the taxis outside they will not turn on their meters. Hire Martinez, he is well known to the Hotel porters. We hired him from MOA and held onto him for nine days most of the duration of our stayand never had to wait for him. Martinex arranged everything the highlight been the visit to Sarao Jeepney manfufacturing plant and on Sunday taking in Tagaytay.Use him for the Airport transfers he is unique, with a great bknowledge of the Airport and flights and so very caring of his passengers. The Bayview Park Hotel deserves to be complimented - A place of excellence and in no way dated. It is seventy years in existance a lovely homely place to stay, lovingly cared for by its dedicated Fillipino staff.- a real home in the Philippines. For a non swimmer just sit by the pool read or enjoy just been in the Philippines- Gods own Country !! Superb value for money. I always felt welcome so very well done to each one that looked after us 27Dec-10Jan 2012

We checked in this hotel for a overnight stay due to its proximity to the US Embassy. The room was larger than expected for a party of three, we had a queen size and a single bed. What I like about this room is that the closet was connected to the bathroom. You could immediately change your clothes after a shower without having to go to the bedside, and the hairdryer was placed by the dresser rather than inside the bathroom as what other hotels were doing.
On the other hand, I find it funny for a 3star hotel with their exhorbitant rates not to upgrade their appliances and services in the room. Even after requesting for newly renovated rooms, I still felt like living back in time, Television was not LCD, where it was already a standard even for low cost hostels. Local calls were charged at php16 per call. Although I have no complaint about their bathtub and the superb water pressure, it would be nice to have a standalone shower room for senior citizen's accessibility. They do not have lock on their bathroom door, if you have issue about that, please take note. Their floor carpets were already dated and a bit dirty, which is not suited for those with asthma or allergies.
Having said that, I think this hotel still need more improvement to really compete with new low costs hostel around the vicinity.

When I asked for an extra towel for my 3 yr old daughter, I was so shocked when the staff said that there is a charge of P100. Then later on, we requested for a plate then they said another charge of P25 each cuttlery. As a frequent traveller, this was the worst and the most ridiculous policy in the hotel service industry. So what service are they really giving you when you have to pay everything for it? It made our stay very uncomfortable.

Stayed here for 5 nights in early May 2012 to attend a wedding
Hotel rooms were decent as well as staff.
Buffet breakfast was very limited and often was waiting for the food to be changed over when it ran out which was a bit frustrating as staff should be keeping an eye out on the food.
This place is well suited for people that are not fussy and not expecting too much, average place.
Room had view of roxas blvd and bay which was ok, used the pool which was decent small but ok
Location wise good, not too far from Mall of Asia and other locations, just under 130 pesos.
