We went there with high hopes. The moment we stepped in, we didn’t feel the warm welcome. No one immediately turned up to seat us. That was still bearable until we got our foods. All right we ordered these: shirley temple, virgin mijito, tea, poultry croquettes lobster ravioli, chicken thigh, and triple cooked fries.

Only lobster ravioli that we were happy if given another plate (for free of course). We may think twice if need to use own money. The rest was simply not to our liking. It seemed not right and we couldn’t comprehend the hype about this place.

Roost is a very relaxing place to hang out. A limited but very nice and healthy menu. Lovely terrace. Love the loungy atmosphere and music.

Thoroughly enjoyed the time at Roost - the food was delicious (can't get enough of the chicken liver pate!), the attentive service, and a lovely cosy place that make dining comfortable. We were there for dinner and the wide windows look out to the trees lit with fairy lights, whch added to the ambience. Will definitely come back for more.

This place seems to survive all the competition which is all around them.
Must not be so easy as this place is upstairs, so not immediately to be seen from the main road. But it is very much worthwhile to climb up the stairs!!
Likely also to be a bit more quiet than the main stretch of Telawi 3 restaurants which become just overcrowded. Another good point is that on main streat there are quite a lot of people begging and you do not have that upstairs.
And rightfully so, as the food is really good. Also nice variety from Smoerebroeds (Due to the Danish origin of the owner) to salads to small and bigger eats.
Attentive service also. This is a place a Ireally recommend.

I like the concept of food from farm to table and the fact that the owner and partners sourced ingredients from local farms is comforting. I even hope they eventually partner with farmers.
We ordered mackerel with fettuccini (the fettuccini was too cooked so not springy), lobster in Ravioli, Duck confit, Salad top with chickpeas and pumpkin pasta. All the dishes were delicious.
The environment is calming but the music in the background was a little too loud for having a conversation in the afternoon but the bartender obliged our request and turned it down. We will come back again.
The only set back was the toilets were super wet.
