“Worthwhile visiting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 February 2012

Another great spot nestled in the city centre and promotes the flora and fauna elements which makes Kuala Lumpur a special city. Worthwhile visiting for children as well as adults. Great day out.

“What a treat, and I'm not a bird watcher”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

Place is very large, only complaint is that it could have used a few more benches. We broke up the visit with a reasonably priced lunch.

Other than that, it felt a lot like a treasure hunt. Peacocks and storks everywhere, but if you stand still and look, many other different birds are everywhere (just not as obvious). Walk a little father, stop a look, and there's more to see, just take a little time. It was so much fun.

“A great half day out in KL for families with small children”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

A short $10 taxi ride from central KL, well organized park with many different birds to see on self guided walks. The majority are "non-caged" and free to fly/roam around the park they all appear to be well cared for and in good health. The bird show lasts 30 minutes and small children & families entertained with flying eagles and mc caws doing tricks. An inexpensive entry fee AU$35 for our two adults one child family. The standard gift/souvenir shop on the way out.

“A Bird Park worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 February 2012

I had been to the Jurong Bird Park in Singapore and wanted to visit the one in Kuala Lumpur too as I had passed it many times but was yet to visit it. So, one fine Saturday took the opportunity to do so and was I glad when I made that decision for this Bird Park seemed way much better than the one I had seen in Singapore.

First the cleanliness of the entire place. It is so well-maintained that it is incredible how every cage and enclosure is spotless. There are a few cages that could be bigger.

To get here, if you are on the Hop-On-Hop-Off tourist bus , you will have little difficulty finding it. You could take a cab .

Ensure you have a meal in town before you get there because the little stalls do not have quality food. You need at least half a day to take time to see all the different birds as there are so many of them. You also have shows that you must not miss. Finally, you will have the opportunity of holding the little chicks in your hands and take photos but handle with care.

This Bird Park is worth a visit.
