“Great place to stroll through.”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

Being quite near the Sentral Station and the National Gallery it's not a difficult place to find.

It's quiet and peaceful and somewhere to wallow away an afternoon walking around the lake and the surrounding woodlands.

It's great to find a place like this so close to the centre of KL to relax in.

Look out for the small lakeside 'economic' plants area where you can see examples of plants valuable to the economy of Malaysia.

Well worth the effort if you, like me, enjoy just strolling through a natural park environment.

“Huge Lake Garden.”
Reviewed 24 February 2012

KL has many lake gardens but this is the biggest one. I used to go to Taman Tasik Perdana every week for jogging and public aerobic. Now, it's look like some part of this area has been abandoned. Lots of things have been done to this place and it can be a comfortable place for people in central of KL to bring their families. It's close to Birds Park, Planetarium and National Mosque so this place is definitely become centre of attractions for 'KL-ians' with family on holidays.

“Treasure of KL”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

One of the treasures of KL located bang in the city centre, a beautiful spot. One must be lucky to have such an a location in their city. Been here many times jogging, walking, picnicing, driving, events.. The city and its council take its pride to look after this really well. credit must be given. A must visit.
Well done Kuala Lumpur.

“A walk in the verdant city park of Lake Gardens.”
Reviewed 19 February 2012

I liked everything about this city park - the lush vegetation, the lakes, the manicured lawns , the variety of flora , the dragon-flies flitting about, etc. This park right in the heart of the busy city area is massive and suddenly takes your breath away as you walk through the plants and bushes admiring Nature's beauty. Suddenly, you feel you are in the perfect place away from the heat and pollution of the city of Kuala Lumpur.

If you are hungry , just look around for the many cafes that display a range of traditional Malay cuisine, snacks amongst the many fruit juices and hot beverages. If you have kids, this is the ideal place for them to romp and run around free from the traffic but in the many playgrounds available all over the gardens.

Don't forget to bring a lot of water and if you have forgotten to bring it, don't fret for it is easily available at the many cafes. And, of course your camera is a must and ensure your battery is charged to take the many snapshots of the lovely flora in the gardens.
