“Great place to eat on a budget”
Reviewed 29 July 2012

Every thing you need to eat and very cheap, massive amount of choice, cons are that smells of Duran, the sick fruit, as they have hundreds for sale. Also beer in kuala lumpur is not cheap but here is the best deal., get the large bottle it's the best deal

“A must when in KL”
Reviewed 29 July 2012

Try and get there just before dark as it will be easier to navigate the narrow paths in between the vibrant stalls. Pick one of the many street restaurants and watch the world go by or haggle for a bargain. Just about everything in the market is fake, whether it be designer watches, trainers, shirts, dvds, cds, handbags... Take a break at the street side Swiss Inn (about half way along Jalan Petaling) where they serve refreshingly cold draft Carlsberg or ice cream for the children.

“Colourful”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

What can I say? Its a colourful place with some good food or just to browse around. A bit packed in the evenings, but a must go place if you like knock offs and bargaining. Its been a fav of mine for decades.

“Same old China Town”
Reviewed 23 July 2012

China Town in KL is the same as the Chinatown of different Asian Countries. The only difference is Chinatown has a lot of backpackers hostel. Very near to all transportation buses and train. Good thing in Chinatown during the time that I have visited, you will experience free cultural dance show.

“Two sides of the same coin”
Reviewed 22 July 2012

Of course you will get cheap stuff here...its chinatown :) cheap but durable items like bags(loads of them), strolls, men's wallets, sports jerseys, T-shirts, luggage, beads, etc.
But the shopkeepers are really aggressive and once you start bargaining and then not buy, the shopkeepers sometimes use abusive language and are very rude. SO first roam around, sleect the stuff you really want to buy and then bargain(its a must).
