Amazing check in / reception lobby, was perfect after travelling all day.

Room was clean and spacious, however room was quite dated (418) but the bed, sheets, towels were always clean.

There is wifi, however it is quite expensive so I do recommend going to Starbucks (next door or at berjaya times square) or Krispy Kreme (berjaya times square) for free wifi that is quite fast.

Location is amazing, berjaya has some ok restaurants but two blocks to the left and then a right at the intersection (walk up to lot 10) that area has some nice restaurants.

Breakfast each morning was great and nothing bad to report what so ever - caters for everyones taste

Over all melia is a perfect hotel for all who wish to stay in KL!

Melia K-L is a good 3-4 star hotel situated right in the heart of shopping country. The rooms are pretty average in appointment but with very comfortable beds and top quality linen. Location is its best feature being close to the malls and loads of restaurants as well as the Imbi Monorail station.

The breakfast offering is good value and varied without being over the top. The choice is wide and caters to all tastes. The lunch buffet is a bit too static - you will get bored quickly, but there is so much choice just around the area that this is no issue.

Staff are friendly, efficient and remarkably unobtrusive whilst getting their work done.

We used the conference venue and this too was well appointed and good value.

There was free wi-fi in the room but this truly was atrocious, despite the management's efforts to improve it. My colleagues had the same issues - e.g. Skype is practically unusable. A tiny local restaurant had 10Mbit Internet - don't know why the hotel's service provider can't provide even 5% of that.

I stayed for four nights. The room is not particularly big but sufficiently spacey. It is clean and quiet, although located in one of the busiest areas in KL. In all honesty, I didn't particularly noticed the services in the hotel because as far as activity is concern, the area is surrounded by them. Whether it is shopping, food or entertainment, it is all there. Across the road is Berjaya Times Square. Step outside the hotel, turn left and walk about 5 minutes and then turn left again, you are in Low Yatt, the huge electronic supermarket. There is also Sungei Wang Plaza and BB Plaza. Follow that for another five minutes, and you are at the famous Jalan Alor street food and the busy Bukit Bintang precinct. The monorail is practically in front of the hotel. There are two foot bridges that will take you across to the other side of the busy road, but try not to carry heavy luggage across because it is difficult. If you want a taxi, DO NOT get those waiting outside the hotels. They DON'T use the meters although it is meant to be compulsory. Try to hail one along the main road. All in all, it is in a good location and the price is just right for what you are offered.

Room Tip: If you are as sensitive to noises as I am, try to obtain higher rooms because it is located on a mai...

Great location within walking distance to the MRT. Rooms are spacious, however bathroom is not very clean. Showerhead was filthy and it's a tub. To step over the tub was higher than normal and would not be good for elderly ppl visiting the hotel. Receptionists have no idea what they're talking about when discussing attractions. They told us to get to Petronas Towers at 6am. Left at 6am and the service guy outside clarified and mentioned to us there's no need to go that early as you can buy tickets to Petronas in the morning for timings throughout the day. I would recommend getting there early if you want the timing of your choice. The mall across the street has great food options and we ate there twice, which was nice.

Stayed 1 night at this hotel before departing to Taiwan for the next day, the hotel is unarguably located at a good spot, Giant mall across, convenience store nearby, myriad of restaurants at the area as well.
The room is clean and quite big if you compare to another KL hotels. Too bad i couldn't have my breakfast properly that time, because i have to catch my morning flight, but they packed me a breakfast box which satisfied me enough.
