I had little choice of hotel when another one just around the corner turned out to be horrific. The pictures downstairs appear to show rooms far larger than reality. My God, are they tiny! The bed fills the room and there was no window. This makes it really claustrophobic. The bathroom was so small showering required removal of everything you might want to keep dry including the towel. Internet is not free but at reasonable cost. I passed on breakfast. The pluses: it is safe, has a lift and is close to places like Central Market and various temples. Right in Petaling Street so those who want cheap eats can go around the corner. I wouldn't stay there again simply because I want a room with a window and something I can move in.

Room Tip: Demand something with a window and look before you pay.

Stayed here after a 20 something hour trip from thailand. Hotels very central but tricky to find with the market on its doorstep. Room was tiny but fine for us. AC and hot shower both worked so not too many complaints from us. Chinatown is really central and a quick hop from the tube. Yes, there were a few mini cockroaches living behind our mirror in the equally mini bathroom but they're easily smashed with a flip flop!
Overall a bit pricey, much cheaper places if you shop around but ok for a few nights.

I was there for just 2 nights but the hotel is terrible. Only stay there if you are after a very very cheap stay. I believe me and my friend paid around £15 each for 2 nights but the room was like a small box.. barely fit two small beds and tv and a crap toilet. It wasn't very clean either.

The only good thing is that it is close to the trains/trams and the lively parts of the city on the weekend. The shopping centers aren't too far either and can get to it by tram for very cheap or taxi. It gets disgustingly hot there during day time so I'd not recommend walking around for too long.

In General the city or where we stayed was quite dirty, a lot of rubbish, rats and smelly streets with many homeless (usually Indians) sleeping on the streets.

Food is easy to get to, loads of restaurants in walkable distances and supermarkets. There is a McDonald's down the road (2 min) from the hotel if you are not feeling cultural but if you want to experience a night out and Malaysian food then fear not.. that's also a walkable distance from the hotel.

I think it was around 40 minutes from the airport of memory serves me right.. cheap to get a taxi from the airport and then book one from the hotel.

I stayed there for 5 days and it was very good overall in October in 2011. Staff was really friendly. It is alongside the famous Petaling street and everything is at your door-step. Just walking distance to the Pasar Seni station and 1 RM to KL sentral from there.

There was a problem in the Hot water shower and I asked them to replace but they havnt done it on the same day. But they offered me another room just for my hot shower and following day i noticed they have replaced it.

If I go to Malaysia i would stay there again.

Room Tip: Just loved the rooms in front side with window though it is bit noisy out side.
