It's a nice budget option. Rooms are okay...not dirty...not clean...free wi-fi is a plus...It's a bit out of the way from central KL but it is pretty close to a monorail stop...so getting into town won't be a problem...so if the extra few minutes of commute is worth saving a few bucks, perfectly adequate choice for a night or two...it's also near buses to Taman Negara, so if going out to that area, location is good...

I stayed at Leo Palace Hotel with my family for my mom's convocation.
We booked a Executive Suite room, the ones on the highest floor, and presumably the best ones.
It was a pleasant stay, the room was spacious and nicely cleaned.
The bathroom was equipped with a bathtub and a shower. Awkwardly, only the bathtub had warm water. The shower didn't.
The windows provide nice views of KL city.

The staff were very efficient but not very friendly. When we checked in, they were good at checking in us but with no smile nor welcome. The same thing when we checked out, the same staff at the reception were miserable. Maybe with efficiency they should also learn to smile a bit and make the customers welcome.

The Wi-Fi was pretty fast, ideal for going on facebook whatsoever....

Overall, it's a good hotel. Recommending this hotel for anyone looking forward to lazing around the hotel the whole day... Kidding. ^^

I stayed at Leo Palace with my friend during Diwali holidays and really enjoyed our stay there. The price you pay for the room is pretty reasonable.

The best thing about this hotel is most of the rooms come with huge windows and good curtains..which gave us choice to open the windows during the day and let in natural light and draw the curtains at night to block the light..

The room was of a very moderate size.. very comfortable for two people. The beds were quite comfortable. The rooms were also quite clean. Only problem is all the rooms in the hotel are Smoking rooms (as informed by the hotel staff)... when we opened the door of our room there was a strong smell of smoke. We didn't really mind the smell...we just kept the window open for fresh air..

This hotel is located in the Chowkit area which is full of restaurants (mostly Indian and Malay)... so one has a lot of choice for eating. The hotel also serves simple breakfast in the restaurant downstairs.

The monorail station and the LRT station are about 10minutes walk... one can get to the Bukit Bintang area by monorail easily.. i think its about 3 or 4 stops on the monorail...

The staff were very efficient but not friendly... when we checked in, they were good at checking in us but with no smile nor welcome... the same thing when we checked out, the same staff at the reception were miserable... maybe with efficiency they should also learn to smile a bit and make the customers welcome...

I definitely recommend this hotel...we are going to stay there again for Christmas.

As nice hotel with a resturant with pretty good food, shower is just a shower head. No curtain or anything. The free wifi is nice, too.

To be honest, this hotel have poor security system. Lacking of CCTV monitoring and private room security is bad. Why review this? Me and my friend had experienced THEFT action in the corner room which located near the escape staircase and a corner without CCTV security monitoring. The door did not break nor the window, which i believe is an act from the staff itself or maybe some cooperation with outsider? Anyway, both our stolen Laptop and broken luggage cost us about MYR 7.5K. This is a very bad experience for our first time in this hotel. Quite disappointed and very upset.
