“A lot of hidden good and yummy foods”
Reviewed 16 February 2012

There are a lot of hawker stalls selling Malaysia local food and snacks in Petaling Street a.k.a "Chinatown" The food can be range from local drinks, snacks as well as cooked food like rice and noddles and many more.
There are minimum 2 things that you got to try out when you are Chinatown.
1. The Chinese local drink which is sweet in nature called Lo Han Guo Long Yen Sui. The stall is just at the junction corder in front of Hong Leong Bank. It will make you feel fresh under the hot sunny day.

2. The soya bean stall just across the Lo Han Guo Long Yen Sui stall.

“Chicken Rice and Claypot Chicken Heaven”
Reviewed 3 February 2012

Decisions! Decisions! So many tasty morsels but so little time (and room in one's stomach). Sooooo! enjoyable...my mouth waters at the memory. Look for where the locals are hanging out. If you go to the ones that are trying to be like "glitzy' westernised Chinese restaurants you will be disappointed - unless that's what you're after! Sitting next to the drain while slurping the fragrant juices from the Claypot Chicken may not be everyone's idea of dining out but if you can 'toughen-up-Buttercup' the delights are to be savoured and linger long in the memory. Take some loose change to buy two little packs of tissues from the "Tissue Lady". She wanders around Chinatown and she limps through the crowds with a smile on her face even when tourists dismiss her with an arrogant flip of their hand. The tissues come in handy to wipe the succulent juices from your lips!
