Slept at this hotel for a single day as a part of a school trip to Nagasaki. Although most of the time was spent elsewhere, some time between and after activities was spent at the hotel.
To take the pros first:
the hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Nagasaki, the breakfast selection and food in general was a positive experience.
Cons:
even though this is Japan, the staff at the reception didn't seem to be very fond of us, but the staff at the breakfast hall were friendly and helpful.
The rooms, at least ours, was worn out and very outdated with a buzzing clock radio alarm from the 1970`s and an air vent with black areas surrounding it. The bathroom, although clean, was also old and outdated and very uninviting.

I'm guessing this hotel is mainly for elderly and businesses men who are just staying the night over.

Overall:
good food, mixed hospitality amongst the staff, completely worn down and outdated rooms as well as common areas.

We had a very good room and the service was good. However, I must say that there were some issues with the internet. You had to be near the door to get wifi since our room was the one furthest down the hall. Everything else was great, the breakfast had a little bit of everything so I was very satisfied with my experience.

Reading the other reviews we realize we were lucky to get a renovated room on the 7th floor (room 710). Great beds, spacious, new bathroom (unfortunately the shower curtain tends to cling to your body and the stepdown is somewhat steep), pleasant view at the inlet of the harbour. Short walk to the trams or to the terraces of the restaurants at the cosy harbour site. Please visit the atomic bomb museum, we found it more appealing than the museum in Hiroshima.

Poorly maintained with mould on shower curtains. A 10 minute drive by taxi from Jr station and few stops on the team which is located close to hotel. Breakfast was surprisingly decent with an ok Western selection and plenty of Japanese favourites.

We made a reservation at this hotel based on the location. Close to Glover garden, Dejima wharf and China town, all in walking distance. For those coming by car it's very close to the highway exit, and parking is free!

For the 5000 yen we paid per room we got a typical business hotel room, it might have been slightly bigger. The floor we stayed on was refurbished, but some of the furniture is still original (old).

We didn't make use of the breakfast option, but overall the experience is slightly better than other business hotels we've stayed in Japan.
