We stayed in a twin room and it was quite spacious for a city hotel in Japan. The beds were firm and comfortable, the pillow a bit on the thin side. They cleverly got rid of the closet but made space to hang your clothes on the wall for each guest. There’s a large desk and lots of nooks and crannies to store your items. They really maximized the layout of the room, but that also meant finding space for your shoes and bags were a little tricky. We ended up shoving our knapsacks against the bed and the wall, which fit it just nicely. There is no safe, the carpet was a little spotty, but overall it was a very clean room.

The bathroom was separated into three areas which made it both convenient and a little inconvenient. The sink was outside, the toilet in a separate small room, and the bath and shower in another larger room. Unfortunately there’s no safe space to hang your clothes in the bathing area as it’s bound to get wet. I had to hang my clothes on the toilet room door knob opposite and reach out for it after my shower. It’s not a big deal but not very convenient. Also, there was a movable pole for the shower head. That’s great but also proved to be my gripe with their bathroom because when the shower was on, the head refused to keep still! It’ll move to where you don’t want it to be (hence making hanging your clothes in the shower room very risky).

Other than and a little bit of mold starting to grow at hard to reach corners, I really liked this hotel. The reception was super friendly and it’s less than 10 min walk to the train station including traffic light waiting time. The tram stop is pretty close, there’s a bus stop just outside. Family Mart is almost next door. Dejima, Chinatown and shopping street area is a close walk and there’s You Me mall with a large supermarket and eating options across the main road and one block down, excellent for when you want to get out of the cold.

There’s a coin laundy here too. Only two machines but we got lucky. The dryer is not that strong though and we needed to use it a few rounds, so don’t overload the machine. There’s a hanging line in the bathroom for non tumble-dry items. Also, the internet speeds were great all through the day.

Stayed here twice now. Both times satisfied. Good room for the price, and location very good - a short walk from the railway station - airport bus stop almost outside and train stop also close. Tourist port and the city centre also within easy walking distance.

Conveniently located but the twin rooms are unsuitable for Western tourists with luggage. The alternative is to book two single rooms - not really what one wants to do. All other facilities are excellent and staff is helpful.

Room Tip: it's not advisable to book room with twin beds

Pleasant stay. Bathroom arrangement was good with separate hand basin, toilet etc
Carpet grubby and not a spacious room.
Washing machine took forever and no English instructions or staff who knew how to use it.
