Quirky and impossibly cool global coffee mini empire. Arabica has three locations in Kyoto: Arashiyama, Higashiyama (near Kodai-ji) and Shijo-Teramachi (in Kyoto Fujii Daimaru department store). We stopped by the Fujii Daimaru outpost. As previous reviewers have mentioned Arabica doesn't serve food, just coffee. I tried an Americano and others in my group had an espresso and a latte. Coffee was definitely good, maybe the best in Kyoto, but not exactly mind-blowing either.

Absolutely lovely coffee (had a hot latte first, then returned a few hours later to try and iced one). Beautiful machinery and cafe design as well.

Worth noting that there's no food, in case you were planning on having breakfast/lunch here.

If you love coffee be sure to stop by! The shop is modern, fresh and clean and it constantly smells of beautiful roasted beans!
If you know much about coffee and mchines they use a Slayer and its absolutely beautiful!
My friend smashed his v60 equipment on his way over from Oz and they were super helpful giving us directions for places to replace it!!!
Will go again before i leave.

Quite a cool find around the Gion and temple area. Excellent coffee and an even better ambiance. I believe they have 3 locations.

Come here for a relaxing cup of coffee... Nice aroma... Nice service and nice ambience..
Recommended if you are around here and need to rest your legs after some shopping.
