Stayed here for the second time this year and had a stay just as good as the first! Definitely worth upgrading to a better room if you can, our room was tastefully decorated with amazing views of Kyoto Tower.
The location is perfect, particularly if you are using the train network during your stay and taxis are easily accessible.

Pleasant hotel in a fabulous location.However food was mediocre and outrageously overpriced!!!!!!!!! Also carpet in our bathroom needed serious attention! Overall it was “an experience “ and if visiting this beautiful city again we would probably book elsewhere.

Great hotel centrally located to trains, shopping, and eating. Our room was large and clean and the staff was helpful. Just be sure to ask for a room near the elevator as we had a LONG walk from our room! Breakfast was included (Hotel was selected as part of our tour) and was tasty.

Hub of Kyoto sightseeing. Direct walk in from Kyoto station, within one minute walk to the metro station, bus terminals and taxi spot. Very convenient for the shopping of souvenir, for food eating in food court Porta, and for sophisticated drinking seeing the Kyoto view. The best entrance and HUB for international travelers.
