After a horrible hotel night in Sapporo I wanted a nice place to get some breakfast, a coffee and share my experience on trip advisor/plan the day! Cafe Paul met all these requirements, and I ended up staying for three cups of coffee.
The cafe serves sandwhiches, crossiants and other baked goods as well as a fairly decent latte (not quite up to European standards, but better than alot of the coffee in Japan) The tuna baguette was fresh and tasty, the pastry fresh (albeit a little too sweet) and the coffee as I mentioned.
The staff speak little English, but are very polite and friendly and work hard not to keep anyone waiting. I had a very nice table in the corner which wasn't crowded and I could sit uninterrupted and write. This is a busy and popular cafe, and I recommend it highly.
