Though it was a chilling day, it was all fun and memorable. The zoo has a lot of unique and beautiful animals that the management seemed to be taking extra good care. Panda, leopard, lion, black bear, and different species of monkeys are entertaining! We took a lot of pictures. My son had fun looking at the animals here and there :)

Would love to be back here!

I lived near marayuma so I made a trip to the zoo with my family. Some of the newer exhibitions like the monkeys and chimpanzees were great. We got to see them feed the animals up close and the chimps played freely in a well ventilated and clean place. However, some of the older exhibition buildings were truly unpleasant, smelly and kept the animals in very resticted places. The children's zoo was also disappointing as I was expecting to let the kids feed and pet the animals, but it turned out not to be very interactive at all.

If you are an animal lover, you will enjoy visiting this zoo. This zoo is well-maintained and clean. No doubt its not very big, but its sufficient I felt. Not too tiring at least. Animals looked clean. Polar bears, penguins, seal, kangaroos were my main attraction because these are not available in M'sia.
There's a small petting farm in the zoo, that house sheep, pony, geese, guinea pigs, roosters . It would be a good experience for children.

My 1st Self-drive (F&E) tour. My 1st visit to Japan.

Visited Maruyama Zoo after Maruyama Park and Hokkaido Shine. This is a small zoo. There aren’t many animals in this zoo.
