I had the best salmon ever last Thursday 16 August 2012 at the French Food Festival by renowned chef Jerome Cartailler. Have eaten there 4 times now at Oakleaf and will return. Our customer from overseas commented that the snails were "the best he had ever had anywhere in the world". The service was discrete and yet attentive. We were touched when we were greeted as a VIP upon our arrival and throughout the evening nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings made conversation easy where we were able to relax in the bar beforehand and order our meal before we went through to the restaurant. Thank you Oakwood when we have overseas guests again we will not hesitate to make a reservation
