This hotel was selected by our tour group, and I can't recommend it. It was a two bedroom apartment with bathroom facilities strangely divided. Toilet in one room and tub/basin in another. I picked the wrong bedroom, which turned out to be on the street side, a very busy street. The hotel is also across the street from a noisy substandard apartment building--lots of loud motor scooters and shouting, etc. At 5 am someone lit off some firecrackers--I know it was China, but really? After checking, we went outside to another building, up an elevator, and then dragged luggage up some stairs. If you are handicapped, forgetaboutit! Anemic breakfast buffet. A poor choice. But I was inside, safe, and in a clean, though very hard, bed.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe apartment which was huge if in need of an update. Kitchen facilities were supposed to be included but there was nothing in the kitchen cupboards. They had provided tea coffee making facilities in living room including mini bar but this was not what we had wanted or thought we had booked but not speaking a lot of Chinese made things somewhat difficult for us. Situated away from main attractions in Guilin was also a little annoying and no maps available at reception also made life more difficult than necesary. I would think that this is a good place for Chinese speaking guests but would not recommend for others such as ourselves.

Room Tip: Make sure on what you are getting regarding facilities
