Owner description: A must-see attraction, with a history of more than 100 years and still in its original shape. The buildings are famous for their exquisite and mythical decorations, such as the brick carvings of historic figures. The temple also functions as a museum under the auspices of Guangdong Folk Arts Museum, exhibiting a variety of folk arts and crafts.

“An outstanding place of art!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 September 2012

Everyone goes to Guangzhou needs to visit the place!
Full of arts in any forms possible. Even the building itself is full of sculptures everywhere.

The proximity from the subway is very close!

There are many rooms in the Hall full of exhibitions. Each room takes my breath away with the outstanding art and skills..

Highly recommended!

“Beautiful artwork”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 September 2012

Woodcarving, pottery, porcelain, ivory, lacquer, limestone, embroidery... this place has it all.
Check out the big piece of woodcarving that shows 18 lobsters and 48 crabs, all in one piece of wood.

“This is one of the few historical sites in Guangzhou”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2012

Architecturally speaking, it's pretty ordinary. The history associated with it is not that impressive either. They've done a good job restoring it, but it's just not eye-popping. Pleasant would be the best way to describe it.
