This was an entertaining interlude in our afternoon in Listvyanka.
We had been unable to see wild seals while diving or on various boats so our only choice was the Nerpinary. I am never too keen on seeing captive creatures and these seemed to have quite a small pool, but they may have had a bigger living area. The Nerpas themselves looked in good condition and were as happy as any seal I have seen in Safari parks elsewhere. This is probably better for young kids than teenagers like our son, but if you like marine life and only have a short period of time this is probably the closest you are going to get to a freshwater Baikal seal.

I only went because I had an extra free day in listvyanka. The tricks the seals do aren't anything special. With such tiny tanks, I'm certain the seals aren't treated very well. With this, and the 500RUB entry price, stay away.

I enjoyed the interactions between the seals and the trainer and they are well trained, highly intelligent animals. I was a bit surprised as to the size of the tank, slightly small for four seals. There is no English, not an issue but don't expect it. Would like to know why you cannot take photos, this was a big downside. It's a little pricey for 35-40 minutes but you'll enjoy it, i certainly did.

There are not many chances to see these cute fatty animals in nature because they are very careful an as soon as they see people they hide. So this is the best way to see them close. It's 500 rubles per person to get in, half an hour show, pictures just for addition price, but it's worth it! You will feel like you are a little kid enjoying watching nerpas doing funny tricks. You just have to see it. We also paid addition ticket to make 3 pictures on our own camera (it's much better than with theirs)

It is cute small show for children oriented. The price for 30 minutes is quite high. Inventory are old and exhibition does not nave enough passion and action.
Never the less, if you want spend some time with child it is good place to go.
photo during action is prohibited
