I was staying at a nearby hotel and popped out on a very rainy night, The Pushka Inn being the first place that I came too.
It's a relatively small place, around 10 table and can probably accommodate 50-60 people. The female staff member who served me spoke excellent English (not easily found in Russia) and was helpful and attentive. I ordered a Russian salad followed by crepes with smoked salmon and caviar. Both were good and with a beer and a small glass of excellent vodka only cost Euro 25, which I though was good value in St. Petersburg.
Probably worth booking during the tourist season, to guarantee a seat.
