We moved to this hotel from the East Gate Hotel to be closer to Moscow City Center. Our stay was during the FIFA World Cup, a very busy time. The hotel staff was very hard working but seemed overwhelmed by the volume of guests. The Grand Belorusskaya Hotel showed signs of wear & tear. It provide a basic comfortable room. A bit crammed for a family of four. Breakfast was a decent buffet. The hotel is situated in an older shopping mall. It is a good hotel for dropping off your bags, then returning to sleep at night.
On the plus side, the local neighborhood is excellent. There is a cluster of first class restaurants a short walk away. Also an excellent coffee shop & upscale bars. There is access to two Metro lines near this.cluster. This puts you minutes from Red Square, the Kremlin, & other favorite Moscow sites.More
