This hotel has a nice location near Turgenev metro station and other metro station like Chystie Prudy Metro Station. Not expensive but just enough clean. Nothing special. Nice location in the centre. Bad Wi Fi connection. Ok for a couple of nights. Not for holiday with your nice wife.

The hotel is very well located and the room and bathroom are what you expected for a 3 stars hotel. The breakfast is the same every day. No changes unless their stock of cereal or fruit finishes any time. Te wheat and granola ceral finished and was not replaced. Las day they did not clean room, and they had nobody available in the afternoon to do it.

We had 1 shower towel, and thay could not give us an extra towel until 9am next day.

Front desk tried hard but did not have the means to solve problems.

Room tip: All rooms are similar. At sunset 3:30 am we had lots of sun light.

This hotel boasts very convenient location: less than 5 min walk to a metro station and about 30 min walk to Kremlin. Neighborhood seemed safe and mostly quiet in spite being in the very center of Moscow. There were several security guards present on premises at all times, so we felt quite safe. We asked for a room on a top floor and that was a good decision since there are street cleaning trucks driving around every morning and making a great deal of noise. Breakfast was very good and hotel staff was more than accommodating. Very good experience overall.

I was in Moscow for only 2 nights to do some business, and found this hotel to be clean and comfortable (if a little dour), good value for the money, and very well situated to the main Leningradsky train station.

Pay NO ATTENTION to the taxi drivers outside the train station who will typically quote you 1,000 rubles ($35) to take you the very short distance. They will also lie and tell you there is no Metro station nearby. In fact, the Metro Station (Komsomolskya) is located immediately next to the train station. Go two stops on the Red Line to station Chistye Prudy, from which you can easily walk to the hotel - about 10 minutes. (Of course, if you've got lots of luggage, the taxi is a better option, but pay no more than 500 rubles...400 if it's a bit slow).

The hotel is located on the quiet side-street (Ulanskaya Ulitsa), behind the headquarters building of Lukoil, which is easily seen, katy-corner from the metro station. Cross the street using the underpass. The location makes it very quiet - isolated from the typical big-city bustle.

The hotel is utilitarian, but decently appointed and maintained. There's a restaurant which serves pretty good food until 10 or 11 p.m. and the free buffet breakfast is not bad. Good coffee and cappucino.

At least one English-speaking staff member is always available to help at the front desk, and they were kind and helpful, if a bit Sovietesque in their demeanor.

The bed was comfortable. Everything worked. They even brought some food up to the room for me, though "room service" per se is not specified. All the usual amenities are in the room - small fridge, good internet (free).

There's an all-night pharmacy and 24-hour fast food immediately next door to the Chistye Prudy metro station, but I would use caution walking in the underground cross-tunnels very late at night. They aren't well lit.

I would stay here again in Moscow when I'm on a budget and I'm coming in by train. The proximity to Leningradsky and the Metro system makes it a good value.

Advantages: very good location (close not only to the underground but also to Red Square and 3 railway stations), small quite and calm street, well-equiped rooms (water, bathrobe, footwear brush, even sewing kit), diversified breakfast.
Disadvantages: very expensive even for this location, single room was tiny.
Total: not bad but consider pricing before booking.
