Is just a normal 3 star hotel with crazy prices much over they are offering. Outdated furniture or broken, “grand mom” bathroom, ugly carpets.
An ugly hotel with just 3 good points: friendly personal, very nice pool and a good location.
In the rest the management of this hotel must do something to make it look like a 5 star hotel!!!!!

Front desk staff lovely on arrival, but the evening staff were less friendly and refused to provide a copy of the bill for some water we bought. Room was spacious, dated decor but ok. Bathroom looked fine but shower was rubbish. They had disconnected the overhead shower and only left the lower hand shower working but it only worked facing the wall. We had to hold in hand and the pipe was very short, 1 meter from the floor, so had to bend over to was hair. There was also some wiring poking out of the wall. Informed the hotel on check out and they were apologetic. Hotel in a good location, only 5 minutes walk to the old town area. Breakfast was fine.

Hotel was slightly dated but had nice touches, such as fresh flowers in room, a fruit plate, nice robes, etc. Very spacious rooms but (like many hotels) the bathrooms are not well thought out as there needs to be more space to put personal items - a couple of shelves would be great.

Nice windows, we found the bed to be comfortable, the breakfast was very nice for us (I am very fine with something that is not made to order) as the coffees were good. The gym was small and pretty hot. The pool was absolutely lovely and a real gem. I didn't understand why there weren't towels in the gym or by the pool for guests.

Great location, about 20-25 min car drive from airport and short walk to pretty city sites.

Like others, our key for the room didn't work at the beginning which was an irritating issue when we arrived tired quite late. But my overall impression was positive.

The hotel is not really 5* hotel. The beds and pillows should be replaced . Maybe there are other more renovated rooms in the hotel .But not what we got.
The service was superb. We got rooms at high floor. The breakfast was excellent. The dinner average.
I forgot my coat at a Taxi and the called the Taxi company and took care to bring the coat back while I was travelling in town. The front desk and concierge were helpful and patient. Thank you!

For the price of an average small room in London you can get a suite at this hotel.
Mine was large and comfortable with two full size bathrooms. (for his and hers)
The place was spotless apart for the one bath with bubble jets.
The breakfast buffet was rather uninspiring.
The good thing is that the hotel is 10 min walk from the beautiful city centre with all the bars amd restaurants.
All in all, I had a nice stay but the place felt a bit soulless.
