We visit Puno city with my family just for one night, we had 3 bedrooms. If you are looking for luxury this is not your hotel, but if you want something in a budget with a good price this The hotel is very well located, just one block from Plaza de Armas and from the major street where all the shopping and restaurants are. Breakfast was included and let me tell you we all were very impressed, had a lot of variety and was very good. Also de hotel has an insight lady from a travel agency that was able to help us do all of our tours to Uros and Taquile Islands.

We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. The room was clean, heated and had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent and the staff super friendly. We would happily stay here again. The hotel is next to the plaza and pedestrian street.

We stayed one night in a twin room and the beds were large and comfy. There was tea available on each floor and breakfast was fine with eggs made to order. A great value hotel in a good location. Would stay again.

Rooms were very good. Hotel upon entry was a very pleasant sight to the eyes. Lots of wood and iron work.
Breakfast good, staff very friendly.
Just by the centre of Puno, so very handy for places of interest.
On checkout, it was a real problem, taking nearly 25 minutes. Validator kept failing, the chap behind reception did not speak English, but more importantly, he had no idea about what to do when a credit card could not be used. Painful, but finally sorted (missed breakfast on last day due to this). Hopefully a one off, but I think not.

Room tip: Get one not facing the two roads around the property.

We stayed at this hotel on two occasions during our 5 week trip around Peru and Bolivia.
The hotel is well located with an interesting spiral staircase leading up to all floors from the reception area (but has a lift as well). The staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to store our luggage while we were on an overnight stay on Lake Titicaca.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean.
However on the first occasion there was a lot of noise that went on until the early hours from a nearby night club. Not the hotel's fault but best to avoid rooms near the back of the hotel.
On the second occasion we were in a room on the 4th floor and couldn't get to sleep because of a banging noise in the plumbing system. The receptionist happily allowed us to change rooms and we got one on the 3rd floor. The noise could still be heard but wasn't nearly so loud. However there was a pane of glass above the door that allowed the light from the communal area outside our room, into our room all night.
We did get an early breakfast before setting off on an early bus journey the next day.

Room tip: Not the back of the hotel
