We stayed here for a night and although there’s not much else to do in Puno besides Lake Titicaca and Silustani, this place was so warm and comfortable that I wouldn’t have minded staying an extra night! For $55, we got what almost seemed like an apartment with two bathrooms, a small living room and a balcony. The view during sunset/ evening was stunning (you get a nice view of the church lit up). Location wise, it’s right by the plaza so you don’t miss out on anything.

The staff here were very friendly and helpful. They also stored our luggage for free whilst we went to the lake. Free coca tea (you’ll need it) and other teas were available in the lobby. The breakfast spread was better than expected - I was pleasantly surprised to see sausages!! Most importantly, this hotel provides oxygen tanks to help out with altitude sickness. I’d say this is the most one of the most crucial factors when deciding on a place in Puno, as the city is nearly 4000m above sea level and you’re bound to feel it (to varying degrees) no matter how strong you are. My girlfriend had breathing difficulties after a short hike on Amantani island (on Lake Titicaca), so the oxygen tank was vital in preventing further disaster.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Puno, looking for a comfortable and safe to rest.

We were welcomed very friendly. The room was very spacious and pleasantly warm due to the sunlight. The breakfast buffet was elaborate and well cared for. The laundry service was very handy as well. The shower needs repair, but can still be used with the necessary caution.

We could check in earlier, the hotel staff was very friendly and supportive and the rooms were nice and clean! The breakfast was hearty and started already at 6am which is helpful on days with an early start.

Check in was a bit slow but the gentleman was very nice and helpful. The room was large and clean. The WiFi was painfully slow. The bathroom was large with a good shower. The lobby areas were great for spending time, we had a late bus so we sat and read and also used the WiFi in this area. They also stored our bags while we killed time in the city. The only negative would be breakfast, very basic, not very tasty and the power went out while we were trying to load our plates. The power was out for approximately 10 minutes and I think it affected the whole hotel.

One night stay after lake titicaca tour.
We had been on a night bus the night before and dropped our things with them at 5am with no issues.

Lovely comfortable room for a very reasonable price.

WiFi was not the best
