This hotel is conveniently located only a couple of blocks from bus terminal. The city center can be easily reached by bus, inexpensive taxi or for those who don’t mind to walk even by walking.
The area felt safe enough, considering its proximity to the bus terminal. The hostel is located above a decent restaurant. The restaurant served good food. The hostels guests were all locals.
The rooms I saw were fairly large, painted white and had bright floor tiles. My double private room with private bathroom was quiet and had window opening onto the inside hallway, TV, fan and a table. The room and bathroom was clean with comfortable and clean bed. The shower had electric water heater. Towel, soap and shampoo were provided as well.
There was a Wi-Fi available but I never got access to it. After asking for Wi-Fi password three times and each time being told to come later, I finally gave up on it. The entire situation about Wi-Fi in this hotel was very strange.
Unfortunately, I did not find the staff were hospitable, the owner especially. I have to say that this was one of the least friendly accommodations I have been to in Latin America. It certainly looked like guests were not one of their top interests, and was by no means a demanding guest.
However, this place provides decent, clean and quiet accommodation for a good price. Hopefully you will find the owner in better mood. This was still a good place for one or two nights near the bus terminal.
