We stopped here on way back to Chitre from Volcan. My wife is Peruvian, so she was excited to try it out. I am picky on food so here are thoughts about this place.

Restaurant wad clean and organized. Food price seemed pricey but it was expected for the area. Server was polite. Getting the food took longer than expected.

Overall, food was good but lacked salt. We ordered plenty as we had a good group. Pulpo a la parrilla was just ok. Lomo saltado tasted good but meat was not tender. Aji de gallina was good but flavor was not fully there due to lack of salt. Chupe the camarones tasted good but lacked salt. Deditos de corvina y papitas for the kids were eaten fast, so take that as positive.

I ordened a chilcano which was not very good.

This place is better than many places in Panama. I would return and try a few other things.

Another Peruvian restaurant ... I think this is the nicest restaurant for its price that you can get in Boquete.

The food
And service is great helpful if
You speak Spanish ... try a pisco sour.

We ate here a year ago and loved it. We were very excited to try it again this trip and it was better than ever. I had the Langostinos Thermidor. Plenty of large shrimp in a creamy veloute’ sauce served in a seashell! Very classy presentation. We also had the Langostinos Ajillo. Prawns in a butter and crispy garlic sauce. Outstanding! We always start with the Pulpo (octopus) , it seems to be char grilled and delicious.
Try the Pisco sour to start. Yummy drink.
Service is very considerate. Bottles of wine and a full bar too.

We were hoping for authentic Peruvian cuisine and we were NOT disappointed. This is a delightful place a block off the main road in Boquete, well-manicured outside and clean and interesting inside. If you want a real taste of Peru, go here.

We received a warm welcome with a handshake by ( what we think) the manager or owner. Good start!
The restaurant looks very colorful and tables are set with care. The staff is very friendly.
We chose 2 different dishes but believe we got almost the same apart from having different fish/seafood but “hey”...it was tasteful so all fine.
