As a couple, we were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, and decor of our room. And, as a result of the cold, windy/rainy weather we experienced on one day, when we spent most of the day in the room, we were quite comfortable! The only drawback was that there were no English-Speaking Channels on T.V. --However, had it not been for the weather, this would not have been an issue!

The hotel overall, is quiet, close to town & many restaurants, plus all the attractions in the area. The breakfast, which is complimentary, is adequate, and served in a nice setting.

Room Tip: No elevators!

During our recent long trip to Panama, me and my husband wanted to show his parents beautiful Boquete. I decided to book Ladera and I'm glad I did. I was a bit anxious since we have never stayed here before and wanted my in-laws to have a good time and be confortable. Our trip had many destinations and many hotel reservation and a beach house, so this was a good price for us too.

We were greeted nicely and check-in was quick. Hotel is small, simple but nice. No AC in room, but they have ceiling fans. Weather is spring like, so you will be confortable. Every worked greeted you nicely. Rooms were nice. Is located on a quiet road, and you will mostly hear the sound of the beautiful birds and a waterfall. You can walk downtown during the day, do not recommend at night.

Breakfast was included, first morning we ordered of a menu(if you got eggs, you couldn't get sausage, weird), second morning they had it all out buffet style so we could get both if we wanted, also great coffee. Ladies were nice at the restaurant, but we were really pleased with how great the guys at the bar were, they were awesome! Cute little bar btw.

Only problem: not enough towels, no floor towel in 1 room, and no hand towels or washcloths.
We would definitely stay here again! Thank you to a great staff!

We visited Boquete the last July, and decided to stay at Hotel Ladera. We had and misunderstanding the night that we arrived, and the next morning, during breakfast, Pablo went to our table, showing a really concern. We ended with an excellent perception and big effort for improve the service at this hotel.
Breakfast is not wonderful, but is good with some options. At the restaurant you can have more options for lunch and dinner, with very good taste.
We have been here two times, and definitely we will go back.
Congratulations Pablo and your staff!

We stayed 3 nights in Sept. The hotel is an easy walk to town in the day time, at night pay the 3 bucks for a cab. The street is dark and walking area is rife with pitfalls.

The lobby and restaurant are welcoming. Staff is polite and helpful. The bar is is quite pleasant with the river running behind it. Leo the bartender is great!!!

The rooms are pleasant and clean. Really the only complaints are: no accessible electrical outlets!!! We had to use a single plug , the other side is a light switch. This is unacceptable in these times. Not a fan of charging expensive electronic devices by the sink.
The next is no available coffee in the early hours or in the room.
I would stay there again but would.bring a peer strip and extension cord.

We stayed here whilst travelling across Central America. A small and very clean and smart hotel with good sized rooms and those on the front have balconies that catch the sun. The restaurant is excellent as was our host who talked us through the menu options that were all very good value. Stay here, you won't be disappointed, and also visit the nearby coffee plantation
