I spent two months at the Langholm and would definitely come back if I returned to Walvis Bay.
Rooms are comfortable, although quite basically furnished. Refurbishing is in process. The hotel is the very opposite of a traditional chain hotel. You don't feel like you're in a hotel. Rather in a normal house. Nothing really fancy or sophisticated but it's enough for a comfortable stay.
Breakfast is splendid. Nice buffet and kitchen attendant ready to cook anything. Bar is friendly and original with hundreds of caps hung to the ceiling. Dinner time was always a pleasure. You need to book it by lunch time. Always succulent dishes, starter + main course + desert for N$145.
There is a closed parking. Internet access is not convenient. They do have wireless (you need to buy a card for that) but signal strength is very low wherever you are in the hotel.
It's quite far from Walvis Bay "city center", but so close to the sea front and within walking distance from the Raft, definitely the best restaurant in town (although BonAroma and Crazy Mama are excellent as well).
The owners are truly friendly people, so kind, helpful and worth discussing with.
