Great spot for a night rest with secured gated parking and a guard at all times.
Breakfast is good.
Rooms are spacious but a little humid due to the lack of an air extractor in the bathroom.
Location is great, a step away from the fantastic restaurant The Tug , perfect spot for dinner ;)
At the hotel they also supply plenty of info for local activities.

We booked 3 x room for 7 days and stayed the first two nights in the "older" part of the hotel before we upgraded to the newly refurbished wing.
The standard rooms in the older part do not have any hair dryers contrary to the amenities stated in Booking.com. The tea making facilities in these rooms are also insufficient as the cord for the kettle is too short and has to be placed on the floor.
The refurbished part of the hotel looks modern and fresh and the rooms have all you need except for a small bar fridge to keep your water, milk etc. Staff is friendly but cleaning staff did not clean the rooms and cutlery every day. Breakfast is average but sufficient - be there well before 09.00 to ensure that you get bacon........... Location is ideal and close to CBD and jetty and refurbished rooms have sea view as bonus. I will be back.

Room tip: Book one of the refurbished rooms

We stayed in one of the new excecutive rooms 3rd floor. Even if the rooms are offered without sea view, on the balcony you can see it! The rooms are clean, bed comfortable, coffee bar and quiet. Breakfast is ok, nothing fancy but absolutely sufficient. Safe parking in the garage below the new building, even power plugs for the car fridge is there. All satff friendly and helpful, free WiFi.

The Hotel is well situated near Swakopmund Town Centre, The Jetty and the Atlantic Ocean, and with the refurbishing and additional rooms it is great value for money. This is my first choice in Swakopmund.

It is a pleasure to stay in a hotel that has history. The refurbished rooms are small but clean and the ensuite is a good size. The buffet breakfast including hot meals to order was very good. As most stays in Swakopmund would be be for two nights or more, the only criticism we would have of this hotel is there is no tea making facilities in the room. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay.
