Most incredible week spent in Rebali Riads. The food was so tasty and authentic, the villa was spotless, and most importantly, the staff were soooo kind and thoughtful. Shoutout to Mohammed and Fatima, who took care of our very need.

Located very close to beach, which offers so many activities. We quad biked around the dunes, which was organised by the manager Mohammed. As was the horse ride hacking around the area and galloping along the beach. Both unbelievable value for money!

Can’t forget to mention the delicious afternoon teas!

Thank you so much for a wonderful time!!

We stayed just one night but Rebali was great - peaceful, authentic, friendly. We had a good Moroccan dinner served in our villa, with the fire lit, very cosy.

We also sat atop the lounge area on top of the villa to watch the sun set over the beach whilst sipping a local wine and watching the local boys bring their camels in for the evening - with camels running astray through the village pathways.

Highly recommended even if a bit dear (but great for a family when you use all the bedrooms!).

We were met by Mohamed on our very late arrival and was immediately made very welcome and shown around our beautiful Riad. Breakfast the next morning served by Fatima was a real treat on our own terrace. All the staff worked tiredlesly and were so friendly and helpful. Always with a smile and time to chat. Every day after breakfast Mohamed would visit every Riad to hear about our plans and help with booking taxis or suggestions of where to visit or eat. He even drove us to the waterfalls so we only had to walk one way instead of both giving us some great insight into nature and local life on the way. The food at Rebali was exceptional and enjoyed by all our family. The place is a real haven of tranquility and beautifully looked after. It felt such a treat to have someone come and light our fire in the evening for cosy games or reading by the fire. The views from the roof terrace were stunning and the beach and the little square in Sidi Kaouki were just a short stroll away. Can’t recommend Rebali enough and I feel sure we will be back just like so many other guests have returned. It was great chatting to other guests for our treat of mint tea and cake at 4.

My husband and I stayed at Rebali for three nights and were looked after wonderfully from the minute we arrived. They upgraded us to our own riad with pool and private garden as a surprise for our 25th wedding anniversary and there were beautiful touches including towels folded on the beds like swans and rose petals scattered around the room, also the beautiful scent of oil in a burner on our arrival.
Mohammed and his staff were always on hand to help and advise, but were never intrusive.
Daily mint tea and delicious cakes at 4pm gave us the chance to get to know other visitors at the complex and it felt like being part of a happy family.
Dinner was served whenever requested at our riad, and we had great banter with Hassan the chef who helped prepare some fantastic, traditional Moroccan food. Breakfast was also delicious, again served with a few minutes of us requesting it, and in the gorgeous surroundings of our own pool.
The views from the roof terrace were superb and you could not get any closer to the beautiful beach. With the evenings a bit cooler we felt totally pampered to have a roaring fire lit for us every night to just enjoy the peace and serenity which was much needed.
Highlights were the two hour camel trek along the beach and across the hills which was a real bucket list tick. Also, a visit to a berber house for a traditionally cooked meal left us feeling very well looked after and gave us a flavour of the real Moroccan way of life. Essaouira is a beautiful fishing town and we had a very enjoyable visit during our stay.
What more can I say? It was a fantastic visit, and the overwhelming kindness of the staff and local people left us craving to return. Which we will.

I would highly recommend Ribali Riads for a fantastic holiday experience.

A driver met us at Essaouria Airport for the twenty minute transfer to Ribali Riads. On arrival we were very warmly greeted by Mohammed and Fatima and served with Moroccan tea and homemade cake. The fridge was stocked for pre-dinner drinks and the fire in the sitting room was lit for us. We had booked dinner for the first night, the staff came and laid the table and brought three delicious courses, cooked by the lovely Hassan, and then cleared it all away - fantastic.

The next morning, some members of our group had requested a yoga class and the teacher came to the Riad. For breakfast, again the table was laid and a delicious array of food, including a hot dish, was brought to us and cleared away afterwards. Mohammed then arrived and asked about our plans for the day. He made a taxi and restaurant reservation for us in the town of Essaouria. Whilst we were out the fridge was re-stocked, the beds made and the Riads cleaned.

This was the pattern of our holiday, nothing was too much trouble and anything could be arranged. As a group of eight people, with an age range between 87 and 27, there was something for everyone. Between us we enjoyed the yoga classes; tennis court, table tennis table, roof terrace, sunbeds, the pool at the larger Riad and the lap pool at the smaller Riad. We ate out at the restaurant along the beach and in Essaouria we would recommend Taros, Dar Ardoul and Caravan Cafe. We also ate in, not only breakfast and dinner but Mohammed also arranged for lunch to be brought in from one of the local bars.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rebali Riads. The facilities, cleanliness and ambience were superb and all of the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful which added to the whole experience.
